Our Mission
The unit set business came about quite by accident. When we moved to the Bangs school district in the fall of 2000, my wife needed a unit set, and I built her one. In order to get reimbursed, we had to get some other quotes. It was at this time that we found out that there was only one company in the state who built unit sets. Our company began. Since that time, year after year, we have serviced the needs of theatre directors all over the state of Texas. Our goal is to build the best sets possible. We get you what you need in the time period you need it. We want to make your life easier. We want to help make you a success. Lyndyl & Terri Tidwell - Owners We were married April 1, 1977 and have three wonderful sons - Cloud, Blu, and Shade. Our whole life was spent chasing after them, but now they are grown, and we chase our seven grandchildren. They grow up in such a hurry. Our lives have changed directions. We used to focus on school, but now we dedicate our time to family and to each other. Blu & Darbi Tidwell - Operations & Finance After our eyes met at a high school One-Act Play, we were married on January 6, 2001. Blu graduated from Texas A&M University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Darbi received degrees from UMHB, Liberty, and Angelo State. We have 3 teenagers - Caedmon, Cambree, and Cason. After teaching in Texas and serving in youth ministry, we moved to Zambia where we served as missionaries for 10 years. In August of 2018, we moved back to Texas to take over the family Unit Set business and watch our kids grow up! Outside of the shop, Blu serves as Pastor at Rocky Creek Baptist Church in Brownwood, and Darbi is a counselor. We enjoy traveling the world and spending time with our family! |
